MCH receives Grant, Purchases State of the Art Ultrasound System  -  1/21/2008

Madera Community Hospital was awarded a $100,000 grant from the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians Tribe to purchase a new state of the art Ultrasound Imaging System. The grant, received in November, 2007, was the largest amount paid from $1 million in grants paid to not-for-profit organizations as a result of an agreement between the County of Madera and Chukchansi. The new Hitachi Aplio XG Ultrasound Imaging System will be used for better diagnosis of cardiac related ailments and to meet the increasing demand for these studies in the local community.
