Central Plant
-
Madera
Community Hospital is completing final design of its new
Central Power Plant that will supply electricity, hot
and cold water, sewer, medical oxygen and natural gas
for the hospital for the next 25 to 30 years. The new
power plant will allow the hospital to construct new
buildings to accommodate the growing population
projected for the greater Madera area. Construction of
the new plant is expected to begin in the Summer of
2007, with completion by January, 2009. The power plant
is being financed through a tax-exempt bond issue
underwritten by Bank of America Leasing.
