Meaningful Nursing Education in Madera

Madera Community Hospital is a member of the San Joaquin Valley Nursing Education Consortium. Our goal is to provide students with a meaningful acute care experience, while maintaining safe and excellent patient care. The information below has been developed for students and instructors.

Nursing Instructors

In order to facilitate a clinical rotation at Madera Community Hospital various requirements must be met including orientation to our facility, privacy agreements, an orientation to the Electronic Health Record, basic math test, PYXIS tutorial, and glucometer training.

Submit Affiliated School Student Roster to tgalindo@MaderaHospital.org at least two weeks prior to the start of clinical. Please include each student's last 4 digits of their SSN on the Affiliated School Student Roster for computer access.

Please complete the following activities below and submit completed forms to Tammy Galindo MSN/ed, RN Education Coordinator at tgalindo@maderahospital.org.

Please contact Tammy Galindo MSN/ed, RN Education Coordinator at 559-675-5486 or tgalindo@MaderaHospital.org to schedule a glucometer training, unit tour, math test, PYXIS tutorial, and obtain an Instructor badge.

Please have all students complete a Madera Community Hospital Clinical Site Evaluation before the end of the clinical rotation. Please submit all evaluations to Tammy Galindo MSN/ed, RN Education Coordinator at tgalindo@MaderaHospital.org.
