Construction on New Central Utility Plant Starts
Construction on the new Central Utility Plant started August 16, 2010.
The $17.5 million project will replace the current utility plant that
is original to the campus from 1971. The new utility plant will be filled
with more energy efficient equipment and will support the construction
on new buildings planned to be built over the next twenty years. The hospital
is working with local construction partners such as Valley Unique Electric,
New England Sheet Metal, Gene Adams Paving, Browning Construction, in
addition to many other local vendors and suppliers.
