Madera, CA November 25, 2019 – An invitation from Madera Community
Hospital to attend the Community Christmas Tree Lighting
Join Madera Community Hospital Leadership, Employees, Physicians and Volunteers
for the third annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting, Wednesday, December
4, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The 40+ foot Redwood, located
in the front of the Hospital, will be set a glow with colored lights throughout
the winter holiday season.
The Christmas Tree Lighting is social event with Madera Community Hospital
Junior Volunteers taking the lead in planning the evening activities.
The event will feature cookie decorating stations, a hot coco bar and
a very special visit from Santa. Community Members are encouraged to bring
non-perishable food or toiletry items. Items collected will be donated
to food distribution organizations in Madera, Chowchilla and Mendota.
During the Tree Lighting Ceremony, Madera Evening Lions Club will announce
the results from their Giving Tuesday Blood Drive. The blood drive takes
place on December 3, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in the Shebelut/Perini
Room at Madera Community Hospital.
