Visiting Hours

General Visiting hours are 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. To promote a healing environment we restrict visitation of children under 13 years of age. Exceptions may be made based on the patient's health condition. The Children's Visitor Center is open to children while their parent is visiting a patient. All hospital doors, excluding the Emergency Department Entrance, are locked after 8:00 p.m.

Family Spokesperson

When a patient is from a large family, it is recommended the family appoint a spokesperson to be the nursing staff contact. The spokesperson can then share information provided by the care team, with the family.

Mobile Devices

Madera Community Hospital provides free guest WiFi access. Mobile devices are allowed in the hospital but certain models may interfere with medical equipment and users will be asked to turn off the device. No video or photography is allowed on Madera Community Hospital premises.
