Healthcare Volunteer Opportunities in Madera
At Madera Community Hospital, we strive to give more than excellent healthcare;
our goal is to provide hope, comfort and convenience for our patients
and families. Our volunteers play an important role in helping to provide
these simple but exceptional services through their generosity.
Madera Community Hospital patients and guests enjoy the benefits of more
than 100 active adult and youth volunteers. Always seeking to enhance
the patient and guest experience, volunteers are trained and assigned
areas of service, based on individual interest and availability, throughout
the hospital.

Shop's sales are donated to the hospital.
-
24-Hour On Call Chaplaincy: Licensed or credentialed spiritual leaders volunteer a minimum of one

to calls when patients, families or medical units are in need of support
and comfort during a time of crisis.
-
Emergency Department Advisory Council: Those selected to serve on the Emergency Department Advisory Council do
so to ensure the patient and family perspective is applied for safe, high-quality
