Outpatient Center diagnostic roomJanuary 15, 2018 Madera California: Madera Community Hospital announces Outpatient Center improvements.

Two phases of a multi-stage project in Madera Community Hospital’s Outpatient Center have been completed. Installation of new medical imaging technology and renovation of the x-ray room where completed in late December, 2017.

“The new diagnostic imaging equipment streamlines and advances the capabilities of our outpatient medical imaging services,” said Karen Paolinelli, FNP, Interim Chief Executive Officer, Madera Community Hospital. “The x-ray equipment improves quality and efficiency for both patients and referring providers,” Paolinelli added.

The state of the art diagnostic equipment drastically reduces image transfer time while significantly improving the image quality. Along with the Radiologist’s findings and report, the enhanced images serve as tools for patient communication and an optimal treatment plan.

The Outpatient Center (OPC) also includes a blood draw station, two ultrasound rooms and mammography. Additional project plans for OPC include enlarging and remodeling the patient registration and waiting area and enhancing breast diagnostic services.
