Madera Community Hospital Welcomes Vituity Emergency Medical Providers

November 11, 2019, Madera, CA: Madera Community Hospital’s Emergency Department is pleased to welcome Vituity Emergency Medical Providers and Terrance McGovern, DO, MPH, Medical Director, Emergency Services.

Vituity, a national physician-owned and led healthcare delivery organization, was selected to assume the clinical and patient satisfaction expectations at Madera County’s only licensed adult and pediatric Emergency Department. “The Emergency Department is the front door of our Hospital,” said Karen Paolinelli, Chief Executive Officer. “As we continue to transform our healthcare delivery system we require providers at our ‘front door’ who align with our expectations. Vituity has a long-standing reputation of passionate patient care with proven quality clinical results.”

Madera Community Hospital adds to Vituity’s large footprint of Emergency Medical Providers in the Central Valley including, Kaweah Delta Health Care District, Clovis Community Medical Center, and Saint Agnes Medical Center. “Vituity’s demonstrated commitment to placing doctors in the Central Valley was weighted heavily in the decision to contract with a different Emergency Department provider group,” said Paolinelli

Dr. Terrance McGovern, relocated his family near Madera after accepting the position of Medical Director for Madera Community Hospital Emergency Services. In addition to his clinical and administrative responsibilities, Dr. McGovern is thrilled to activate Madera Community Hospital’s inaugural Emergency Department Advisory Council.

“The Medical Staff is confident that Vituity’s Board-Certified Emergency Medical Providers will reinforce our expectation for timely, efficient and respectful healthcare,” said Muhammad Anwar, MD, Chief of Staff. “Their established Central Valley presence assures us of their commitment to our values and their experience with the unique health disparities of our County,” Dr. Anwar added.
